OK, so I’ve been insanely busy over the last few weeks, hence the lack of posts, but more great stuff is coming shortly. I just wanted to post this because it’s a fairly unique concept.
If you have your camera stolen, it’s a taumatic event. Apart from the physical loss, the chances are that you’ve also lost the images on the card as well – just as an aside, that’s why I don’t use bigger than 4Gb storage cards, but that’s another post.
Should the thief start using your camera, you just *may* be able to get an handle on who/what/where and when it’s being used.
I came across the Stolen Camera Finder. This is a pretty neat idea. All digital camera’s save the EXIF data with the image. By dropping one of you images onto the site, it’ll search for any online image that has the same serial number for the camera as your image. Read more
